Mi Bolsa, meaning ‘My Bag’ in Spanish, is a contemporary luxury leather handbag brand founded in London in 2020. Born from a spirit of adventure, creativity, and a touch of playful rebellion, Mi Bolsa was created to challenge convention and celebrate a truly global identity.
Siblings Mikayla and Alex Doo, the founders of the brand, envisioned a label that fused the craftsmanship of Spain, the ease of the Mediterranean, and the innovation of London into every piece. With that vision, Mi Bolsa came to life.
Drawing on the bold spirit of Spanish style and the timeless elegance of London, each design reflects a unique blend of cultures and influences. Every handbag is meticulously crafted using premium materials, blending refined luxury with an accessible price point.
We work exclusively with select ateliers that meet our standards for quality, sustainability, and ethical practice, ensuring every bag carries not only style but integrity.

Mikayla DOO, CEO
Mikayla’s journey into the world of luxury handbags is one of tenacity, non-conformity, and resourcefulness. A mathematics graduate from the University of Oxford, she began her career as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley in London, where she developed a sharp analytical mind and strong business acumen.
Driven by a desire to explore beyond the conventional path, Mikayla later relocated to South Korea, where she led a team in the development of a luxury resort. This experience not only tested her leadership skills but also deepened her appreciation for refined aesthetics and design excellence.
Her father, a renowned artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, inspired her to approach life with creativity, courage, and a sense of purpose. His influence shaped her view that success is often found off the beaten track.

Alex Doo, Principal Designer
Where Mikayla brings precision and analytical strength to the sibling duo, Alex offers the creative and design vision. As Mi Bolsa’s Principal Designer, Alex Yoo leads the brand’s luxury handbag and accessories collections with a distinct blend of artistry and intention.
A graduate of the University of the Arts London, where he specialised in menswear, Alex approaches design through the lens of a Gen Z creative: forward-thinking, curious, and globally aware. Even with his innovative spirit, he maintains a deep respect for time-honoured techniques in fashion and craftsmanship.
His creativity and buoyant spirit perfectly balance Mikayla’s sharp business acumen, giving Mi Bolsa its uniquely thoughtful yet expressive identity. When not designing, Alex immerses himself in various forms of artistic exploration and maintains an active lifestyle through sport, both of which fuel his ever-evolving aesthetic.

Joshua pasquale, creative director
A chameleon in both style and spirit, Joshua Pasquale brings a multicultural edge to Mi Bolsa’s creative vision. Born and raised in Canada, one of the world’s most globally diverse countries, Joshua infuses international flair, adaptability, and purpose into everything he creates.
As Mi Bolsa’s newly appointed Creative Director and PR Director, Joshua enters the role with a striking portfolio. In under two years, he has led creative direction and styling for major showcases at London, Paris, and New York Fashion Weeks, with his work featured in Vogue, ELLE, and Glamour.
Joshua’s fashion ethos is rooted in connection, transformation, and giving back. He is committed to using his platform to elevate underrepresented voices in luxury fashion, knowing firsthand the power of being given the chance to shine.
